Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make an impact supporting students' educational journeys as a school psychologist in a contract position from August 2026 through June 2027. Located near Shelbyville, IN, this onsite role offers the opportunity to work with a midsize caseload, engaging directly with students, families, and educational staff to help create positive learning environments. Bring your expertise in mental health and assessment to help guide critical evaluations, participate in eligibility meetings, and collaborate with educators and families. Your ability to maintain organized, confidential student records and your approachable, flexible personality will be vital as you work closely with the school community.
What you bring:
Active Indiana School Psychologist license Prior experience as a school interventionist or psychologist Proven ability to organize and manage confidential records efficiently Strong communication and collaboration skills Positive, adaptable approach to working with diverse students, families, and colleagues Responsibilities include: Conducting psychoeducational evaluations for students as needed Participating in eligibility and intervention meetings to support student needs Collaborating with school staff and families to develop strategies for student success Providing insight and recommendations based on assessment results Helping foster an inclusive and responsive educational atmosphere This full-time contract position (37.5 hours per week) covers the academic year, allowing you to build valuable relationships with students and staff while maintaining a consistent schedule.
