Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Shape young lives while supporting students' growth and well-being as a School Psychologist in a dynamic K-12 setting. This full-time contract opportunity allows you to collaborate with passionate educators and impact a diverse population near South Bend, IN. Leverage your expertise to deliver essential psychological services, guide interventions, and promote student success. You'll work with individuals and teams, contributing to a supportive educational environment that values each student's unique strengths.
Qualifications:
Valid School Psychologist certification/licensure (Indiana preferred or eligibility for reciprocity) Experience performing psychological assessments and developing intervention strategies in school settings Ability to support both general and special education students across K-12 grades Strong collaboration and communication skills to partner with educators, parents, and administrators Familiarity with IEP processes, behavioral interventions, and positive behavioral support systems
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to identify students' needs Participate in the development and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Provide targeted, evidence-based interventions and counseling services Consult with faculty and families to facilitate effective learning environments Monitor student progress and refine support plans as needed Contribute to crisis intervention and prevention initiatives Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation in accordance with school and federal guidelines Why consider this opportunity?
