Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students' success this school year as a contract School Psychologist. This rewarding opportunity allows you to use your specialized skills in assessment, counseling, and collaboration to make a difference in the lives of children and families. In this position, you'll serve students in educational environments, working closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to address academic, behavioral, and emotional needs. Your ability to empathize, problem-solve, and communicate effectively will help foster positive outcomes and create a supportive school community.
Qualifications and Skills:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program Valid state licensure or eligibility for school psychologist certification Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations and writing reports Strong background in MTSS/RTI and developing IEPs Ability to provide both individual and group counseling Excellent collaboration and consultation abilities with multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
Assess cognitive, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral strengths and challenges of students Interpret assessment results and make recommendations for interventions and accommodations Design and support implementation of student IEPs and behavior intervention plans Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and support to students and families Consult with educators, families, and administrators to ensure a safe, inclusive environment Maintain detailed records, documentation, and compliance with all regulations
