Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract In this contract opportunity, you'll contribute your expertise as a School Psychologist across two educational settings supporting K-12 students near Hoyt, KS. This role is ideal for professionals committed to helping students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. With a caseload of 63 students, you'll play a key part in facilitating student success through evaluations, intervention strategies, and collaborative teamwork.
Responsibilities:
Conduct initial and three-year re-evaluations for students in the K-12 population. Provide insights and guidance on pre-referral interventions. Contribute expertise during manifestation determination hearings related to disciplinary actions. Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to develop and implement student support plans. Interpret assessment results and communicate findings clearly to multidisciplinary teams. Maintain thorough records and ensure compliance with relevant state and federal requirements.
Qualifications:
Licensed or eligible for licensure as a School Psychologist. Experience working with K-12 students in a school-based setting is highly valued. Solid understanding of evaluation procedures, intervention strategies, and IEP processes. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to manage a caseload and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
