Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time according to applicable laws Travel, licensure, certification, and other reimbursements where applicable What You'll Do Conduct psychological assessments and clinical interviews with inmates Develop, implement, and modify individual treatment plans based on evaluations Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, and staff Provide mental health counseling, crisis intervention, and confrontation avoidance strategies Conduct regular rounds in segregated or confined housing areas to assess inmate adjustment Demonstrate knowledge of counseling techniques and mental health treatment modalities Gather information from various staff to understand behavioral escalations and health changes What You Need Valid licensure or board eligibility as a Psychologist BLS certification (or pending) meeting CoreCivic standards Prior experience in psychological assessment and treatment preferred Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a collaborative team Must be a US citizen with eligibility for ICE clearance (expedited clearance in place) About the Assignment This position involves providing professional mental health care to inmates in a secure facility. The Psychologist will perform assessments, develop treatment plans, and work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive inmate care. The role is vital to maintaining mental health stability within the facility and supporting inmate rehabilitation.
