Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a School Psychologist where your skills and expertise will directly impact students' academic and emotional success. Multiple openings are available for the 2026-2027 school year in a dynamic, supportive environment, including: One full-time position at the high school level One part-time position serving an elementary school One potential full-time elementary role A specialized early childhood position As a vital member of the educational team, you'll contribute your knowledge and compassion through a variety of responsibilities, such as conducting student evaluations, leading solution-focused meetings, addressing compliance needs, and engaging in collaborative problem solving. Each day brings new challenges and opportunities to support both students and staff as they strive for educational excellence.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid Kansas School Psychologist Certificate is required Experience working in K-12 school settings strongly preferred Demonstrated skills in administering psychological assessments and participating in IEP processes Effective communicator who can collaborate with educators, families, and administrators Strong organizational and time-management skills for balancing multiple priorities Initiative and commitment to fostering positive student outcomes
Typical Responsibilities Include:
Performing comprehensive evaluations to determine student needs Leading or participating in multidisciplinary team meetings Consulting with teachers and families to support student growth Ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations Offering counseling services or interventions as needed Compensation for this role is $50 per hour.
