Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make an impact this school year by supporting young learners as a valued school psychologist in a collaborative elementary setting. In this contract opportunity, you'll work onsite alongside dedicated teams to help foster a productive and supportive environment for students in kindergarten through 5th grade. This position runs from late July through early June, providing valuable experience in a vibrant educational community. What you'll bring: Active certification/license as a School Psychologist Previous experience in school-based settings preferred Strong skills in student intervention, crisis response, and problem-solving processes Proficiency in conducting IEP evaluations and delivering related services Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation abilities What you'll do: Partner with the Student Intervention and Building Crisis Teams to address student needs and collaborate on behavioral and academic supports Lead and participate in problem-solving processes to promote positive outcomes for students and staff Administer and interpret assessments for IEP evaluations, and contribute to planning and implementing individualized services Serve as a crucial member of the building team, engaging in preventative and responsive services Support and advise teachers, families, and staff, promoting a safe and healthy school climate Benefits of this opportunity: Secure a contract position with a predictable Monday-Friday schedule (37.5 hours per week) Gain experience across multiple responsibilities in an elementary school setting Expand your professional network in a supportive and dynamic educational environment Opportunity for future remote options if position is not filled fully onsite Ready to make a difference for students and contribute to a dedicated elementary school team?
