Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make an impact supporting students' growth and well-being as a School Psychologist for the current school year. In this rewarding contract opportunity, you'll provide essential psychological services within a dynamic educational environment, working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to help students succeed.
Key Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist Experience conducting comprehensive evaluations, eligibility assessments, and developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Skilled in counseling, consultation, and intervention with students, staff, and families Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building abilities Adaptability and commitment to fostering positive outcomes for diverse learners
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological and educational assessments to identify students' needs and recommend interventions Consult with educators and families to develop strategies supporting academic and behavioral success Contribute to IEP meetings and provide expert guidance on special education eligibility and services Deliver individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and support services Maintain timely, accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations Promote safe and nurturing school environments conducive to learning and emotional well-being
