Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a pivotal role supporting elementary students as a School Psychologist on a contract basis for the upcoming academic year. In this position, you'll collaborate closely with educators and staff, contributing your expertise toward positive student outcomes. Your work will be central to the building's success, as you take an active role in processes and teams dedicated to intervention, evaluation, and crisis response for children in Kindergarten through 5th grade.
Key Qualifications:
Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist Experience conducting IEP evaluations and delivering related services Skillful in collaborating with Student Intervention and Building Crisis Teams Deep understanding of elementary student developmental and behavioral needs Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills Capable of working onsite within elementary school settings
Role Responsibilities:
Provide on-site psychological services, supporting the daily needs of students and staff Lead problem-solving processes and serve as part of the Student Intervention Team Collaborate with the Building Crisis Team to address urgent needs and build long-term strategies for student well-being Complete thorough and timely IEP evaluations, reports, and follow-up services Consult with educators and families regarding student progress, interventions, and supports Maintain accurate records and participate in regular meetings as an essential team member This is a full-time, contract assignment running from late July through early June, with standard hours each week. You'll work closely with young learners, staff, and families, making a meaningful difference every day.
