Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a dynamic educational environment serving elementary and middle school students as a contracted School Psychologist. You'll have the opportunity to split your time between two neighboring schools, working closely with students from Kindergarten through 8th grade. Your role will be integral to fostering a supportive, responsive school community through collaboration and skilled psychological services.
Qualifications & Experience:
Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist Prior experience working with school-aged children preferred In-depth knowledge of IEP processes, and comfortable facilitating evaluations and delivering related services Strong problem-solving, crisis intervention, and consultation skills Effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Commitment to supporting the academic, behavioral, and emotional needs of diverse students
Key Responsibilities:
Participate actively in daily school psychologist duties, including assessments, intervention planning, and progress monitoring Serve as a valuable member of site-based Problem Solving Teams, Student Intervention Teams, and Building Crisis Teams Conduct comprehensive IEP evaluations and deliver tailored services in compliance with educational regulations Collaborate with staff and families to create and implement strategies supporting student growth and well-being Provide crisis response and consultation, contributing to a positive and safe school climate Manage a flexible caseload across both elementary and middle school settings, adapting approaches to meet students' varied developmental stages This onsite contract offers an opportunity to make a genuine impact during the academic year, with a Monday through Friday schedule of 37.5 hours per week.
