School Psychologist - Topeka, Kansas ProCare Therapy - 3.9 Topeka, KS Job Details Contract 15 hours ago Qualifications School experience Practicing as a school psychologist Full Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An exciting contract opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist in the Topeka, KS area, supporting students and educators for the 2026-2027 school year. This role offers the chance to make a lasting impact through comprehensive psychological services, with a particular focus on high school re-evaluations, though the district offers flexibility regarding grade level and caseload assignments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in assessment, consultation, and collaboration to support student wellbeing and academic achievement. Key Qualifications:
Active and valid Kansas School Psychologist license (required) Strong assessment and report-writing skills, especially regarding high school student populations Previous experience conducting student evaluations and re-evaluations preferred Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, and families Strong organizational and communication skills
Responsibilities Include:
Performing high-quality psycho-educational assessments and re-evaluations, with an emphasis on high school students Providing consultation and recommendations to staff regarding student needs Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and contributing to IEP development Serving as a resource to support the instructional process, including behavioral interventions Maintaining clear and timely documentation of all services provided With a welcoming district willing to offer flexibility in your assignment, you'll find both challenge and fulfillment throughout the school year.
