Job Description

School-Based Therapist (Elementary Schools) Full-Time or Part-Time | W2 or 1099 | Northern Kentucky About Us Mainspring Wellness is a mental health practice serving Northern Kentucky through in-person, telehealth, and school-based services. We are currently hiring a licensed therapist to provide on-site therapy to elementary school students in Covington during the 2026-2027 school year and beyond. Position Summary As a school-based therapist, you'll deliver individual therapy to students directly in their school building. You'll work closely with educators, administrators, and families to support mental health, emotional regulation, and overall student well-being. Responsibilities Provide individual therapy to elementary school students Coordinate care with teachers, administrators, and families Use evidence-based practices in a trauma-informed framework Maintain clinical documentation and meet Medicaid billing standards Participate in clinical consultation and optional supervision sessions Qualifications Must hold a current KY license: LPCA, LPCC, CSW, LCSW, MFTA, or LMFT Experience working with children or in a school setting preferred Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills Ability to work independently while staying connected to the Mainspring team Benefits Flexible hours - Full-time or part-time schedules available Employment flexibility - Choose W2 or 1099 Clinical supervision available for associate-level providers Ongoing team support and consultation Competitive pay structure Opportunities to grow into outpatient or summer roles
