Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a difference in the lives of students by providing essential psychological services within a supportive educational environment. Experienced School Psychologists are needed for a contract opportunity in the Harvey, LA area, working onsite for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time position offers a great way to grow professionally while helping students thrive.
Qualifications:
Active Louisiana Department of Education (DOE) School Psychologist certification required Experience as a School Psychologist in K-12 settings preferred Familiarity with psychoeducational assessments, interventions, and counseling Strong collaboration and communication skills Ability to complete district-specific drug screening and fingerprinting requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive school-based psychological services to students Conduct individual and group assessments to support educational planning Collaborate with teachers, families, and administrators for student success Develop intervention strategies tailored to individual student needs Provide crisis support and consult on mental health best practices Complete required documentation and reporting Help create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
