8FTE at the Parker Elementary School & .2FTE at the Project Support Preschool.

We are looking for a full-time school psychologist whose role will include conducting initial and reevaluations for the purpose of determining eligibility for special education. This school psychologist may be assigned to complete a portion of evaluations for students who attend out of district placements as well an assignment to schools within the district based on student need. The role as a school psychologist may include attending MTSS and/or SEL teams, dedicated to determining appropriate interventions through the general education model for support.
Qualifications:
  • Massachusetts DESE licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Extensive evaluation and assessment experience
  • Strong ability to write comprehensive evaluation reports in accordance with federal and state guidelines, including specific and individualized recommendations for teachers and parents
  • Experience in data collection and analysis
  • Professional understanding of and experience with special education processes and eligibility guidelines
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience consulting and collaborating with team members to implement recommendations
  • Ability to work effectively with a wide range of team members and providers both in and out of district
  • Experience with MTSS and PBIS
  • Strong organizational skills, flexibility and ability to work within timelines and across settings
