Forensic Psychologist for Solomon Carter Fuller Hospital Tufts Physician Organization Boston, MA Job Details Full-time $95,000 - $125,000 a year 6 hours ago Qualifications Risk assessment Licensed Psychologist Credentials Full Job Description The Department of Psychiatry at Tufts University School of Medicine and the Tufts Medical Center is recruiting a licensed Designated Forensic Psychologist (DFP) or eligible-DFP Candidate to work as a member of the Tufts Medical Center Mobile Forensic Evaluation Team.
Responsibilities:
Conducting Court-ordered competence to stand trial, criminal responsibility, aid in sentencing, and prisoner in need of treatment evaluations at the Dr. Solomon Carter Fuller Mental Health Center, and other Massachusetts Department of Mental Health (DMH), correctional, or community-based facilities when necessary; Authoring forensic reports; and providing testimony, as required. Specific duties may also include providing consultative risk assessments to DMH services and inpatient units. In addition to the above, opportunities exist for initiating a research program and for training practicum students, psychology interns, and psychiatric residents. This full-time position (40 hours each week) includes the opportunity for an academic appointment in the Tufts University School of Medicine Department of Psychiatry at a rank to be determined by qualifications. Compensation:
