Job Description
Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Empower students to succeed as a skilled School Psychologist providing psychoeducational assessments in a dynamic educational environment near Brockton, MA. This contract opportunity calls for an experienced professional who thrives in diverse, multicultural school settings and is committed to promoting student well-being and academic growth. Ideal candidates bring a strong background in conducting comprehensive psychoeducational assessments, a collaborative spirit, and the ability to work seamlessly with educators, students, and families to address a variety of learning and behavioral needs.
Qualifications:
Hold or be eligible for a Massachusetts School Psychologist License Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or a closely related field Advanced Studies degree is preferred Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience (strongly preferred) Experience working within a public school setting Demonstrated success supporting students from diverse backgrounds Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skillsResponsibilities:
Conduct psychoeducational assessments to inform educational planning Interpret assessment results and make recommendations for interventions Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff on student support strategies Provide consultative services to families and educators regarding student needs Maintain all required documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines Serve as a valuable resource in developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) As a valued team member, you'll enjoy the flexibility of contract work while making a meaningful impact on the lives of students and their families.
