Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Bring your expertise in school psychology to a dynamic contract opportunity near Cambridge, MA. This role centers on administering targeted psychoeducational assessments to support student success in a diverse educational setting. You'll collaborate closely with educators and school teams to ensure that each student's unique learning needs are understood and addressed.
Qualifications:
Hold, or be eligible for, a Massachusetts School Psychologist License Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or a closely related field Advanced Studies degree is a plus Preferred minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience Experience within public school environments A strong record of working with students from diverse and multicultural backgrounds
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to interpret assessment results and inform individualized educational plans Employ up-to-date evaluation methods to support students' academic and emotional development Provide clear, concise assessment reports for school teams and families Consult with educators, administrators, and families to develop intervention strategies Remain current on assessment best practices and legal guidelines in school psychology This flexible contract position allows you to focus on high-impact assessment work.
