Job Description
Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a unique opportunity designed for experienced School Psychologists interested in a highly flexible, minimal-hour contract role. This position is ideal for professionals looking to supplement their current caseload or those seeking meaningful work with a reduced time commitment. Based near Chicopee, MA, you'll be stepping in due to the retirement of the current school psychologist.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct 3-year student evaluations to ensure compliance and support for students' educational needs Provide expert clinical supervision to the school's counseling staff Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with state and district requirementsQualifications and Desired Experience:
State certification/licensure as a School Psychologist Demonstrated experience conducting comprehensive evaluations in a school setting Strong background in providing clinical supervision to mental health professionals or school counselors Proficiency in—or willingness to learn—ASL is highly preferred Teletherapy experience or comfort using virtual platforms is a plus (VOCO eligible) Must be open to working a very limited number of hours each month (schedule is a few hours monthly) Best suited for candidates seeking part-time, supplementary work, not a full-time caseloadAdditional Details:
The position starts in the upcoming fall/New School Year No summer or extended school year coverage required Interview slots are limited and may require flexible scheduling with the school director This is an excellent fit for professionals who enjoy focused, evaluation-based assignments and supporting school counselors' growth in a collaborative environment.
