Job Description
The Clinton Public Schools is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist for Clinton Middle School (grades 5-8) for the 2026-2027 school year.
The ideal candidate will have experience with conducting assessments, analyzing data, and collaborating with educators and parents to support the academic and emotional well-being of our students. Additionally, experience with facilitating the team process is preferred. Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

The ideal candidate will have experience with conducting assessments, analyzing data, and collaborating with educators and parents to support the academic and emotional well-being of our students. Additionally, experience with facilitating the team process is preferred. Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational assessments to identify students' needs. Write assessment reports analyzing the data collected, and providing diagnostic impressions as well educationally relevant recommendations-Facilitate and chair initial and re
- evaluation team meetings-Help develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment
- Participate in school meetings and contribute to the development of school-wide programs
- Provide counseling and support to students facing emotional, behavioral, or academic challenges as appropriate
- Stay current with best practices in school psychology and mental health
- Other duties assigned by the Director of Special Education and/or the Building PrincipalSalary range: $58,816
- $111,554Salary is based on experience and in accordance with the Clinton Teachers Association Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Qualifications:
- Valid DESE licensure as School Psychologist
- Experience working in a middle school setting is preferred
- Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse populations.
