Job Description

The Clinton Public Schools is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist for Clinton Middle School (grades 5-8) for the 2026-2027 school year. The ideal candidate will have experience with conducting assessments, analyzing data, and collaborating with educators and parents to support the academic and emotional well-being of our students. Additionally, experience with facilitating the team process is preferred. Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational assessments to identify students' needs. Write assessment reports analyzing the data collected, and providing diagnostic impressions as well educationally relevant recommendations
  • Facilitate and chair initial and re
  • evaluation team meetings
  • Help develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment.
  • Participate in school meetings and contribute to the development of school-wide programs.
  • Provide counseling and support to students facing emotional, behavioral, or academic challenges as appropriate.
  • Stay current with best practices in school psychology and mental health.
  • Other duties assigned by the Director of Special Education and/or the Building Principal Salary range: $58,816
  • $111,554 Salary is based on experience and in accordance with the Clinton Teachers Association Collective Bargaining Agreement.
It is expected that the school psychologist will assume the role of team chair with an additional stipend.
Qualifications:
  • Valid DESE licensure as School Psychologist
  • Experience working in a middle school setting is preferred.
  • Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse populations.

$58,816.00
