Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a vital role supporting K-12 students' well-being and academic development as a school psychologist in a dynamic educational setting. This full-time, contract opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact, with multiple openings that allow you to select your preferred caseload across elementary, middle, or high schools. Whether you are interested in on-site or virtual opportunities, flexibility is available for both local and travel professionals.
Required Qualifications:
Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist. Experience with K-12 student populations; open to recent graduates demonstrating strong internship experiences. Ability to assess, counsel, and implement interventions tailored to a diverse student body. Familiarity with IEP team participation, psychoeducational evaluations, and state/federal education regulations. Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Comfortable with either in-person or virtual/VOCO service delivery, as preferred.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to support special education eligibility and student intervention planning. Provide counseling services and crisis intervention as needed. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to design and implement individualized student plans. Serve as a key member of multidisciplinary teams, contributing expertise in meetings and student reviews. Maintain accurate records and contribute to compliance processes in alignment with district and state guidelines.
