Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as a School Psychologist with a focus on extended school year (ESY) services. This engaging role involves providing expertise in assessment, intervention, and consultation to address a backlog of student needs, helping foster a positive and equitable educational experience for all learners. Your skills in school psychology will be key to evaluating, supporting, and advocating for students across grade levels. Working closely with educators, administrators, and families, you'll help ensure every student receives the guidance and support they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Desired Qualifications:
Current School Psychologist credential or license (state-required) Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting Strong skills in assessment, report writing, and data-driven decision making Ability to manage priorities for multiple students, especially in ESY programs Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Dedicated to providing equitable and inclusive psychological servicesKey Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for K-12 students as part of ESY and to address the current backlog Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective support plans Provide recommendations and interventions that promote academic and social success Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team planning, and student support activities Offer counseling, crisis intervention, and consultation as needed This contract position provides a dynamic opportunity for making an immediate impact where your expertise is highly valued.
