Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist - Telehealth Job Type Contract A school psychologist is sought for a very part-time contract position in Longmeadow, MA, beginning in the Fall/New School Year (NSY). This role is ideal for professionals interested in supplemental work rather than managing a full caseload. The current school psychologist's retirement has created the need for additional support in evaluations and supervision.
Key responsibilities include:
Completing three-year evaluations for students Providing clinical supervision to school counselors Supporting telehealth services, with VOCO eligibility preferred While American Sign Language (ASL) fluency is not required, candidates with proficiency will be highly valued to work alongside interpreters. However, all candidates who meet the requirements, regardless of ASL proficiency, are encouraged to be considered.
Desired qualifications and experience:
Licensed or certified school psychologist credentials Experience conducting comprehensive evaluations in an educational setting Ability and willingness to provide clinical supervision to counselors Comfortable working very limited hours on a part-time basis (a few hours per month) Teletherapy experience and VOCO eligibility are advantageous Openness to low-hour schedules and evaluation-focused tasks Interview availability may be limited, requiring flexibility as the hiring director adjusts schedules to accommodate discussions. This opportunity serves as a supplementary role focusing primarily on evaluation-focused work and counselor supervision.
