With a retiring school psychologist, your specialized skills will ensure a seamless transition for students and staff alike.
Key Qualifications and Preferences:
Valid state certification and credentials as a School Psychologist (required) Professional experience in educational settings conducting comprehensive evaluations and providing supervision Comfort with very minimal hours each month; this role is ideal for those seeking supplemental, not full-time, commitments Strong clinical supervision background, especially in oversight of counseling staff ASL fluency is a significant asset though not required; interest or willingness to work with interpreters welcomed Ability to collaborate effectively in a team, both on-site and in virtual formats (teletherapy/VOCO eligible) Openness to evaluation-only work and supervision responsibilities
Core Responsibilities:
Conduct mandated 3-year student evaluations to guide educational planning Provide clinical supervision for counseling professionals within the school environment Deliver flexible, high-quality service in accordance with school schedules and needs
Additional Details:
Very part-time schedule: only a few hours per month No coverage needed for summer or extended school year Flexible start in the Fall/New School Year Candidates must be comfortable with limited interview availability and variable scheduling This position is ideal for professionals wishing to make an impact through specialized supplemental work—whether you're open to onsite, hybrid, or teletherapy assignments.
