Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time School Psychologist position is available for the 2024-2025 academic year at a K-12 public school in Lowell, MA. This role involves providing comprehensive psychological services to students across all grade levels, supporting their academic and emotional well-being.
Responsibilities include:
Conducting psychological assessments and evaluations Collaborating with teachers, parents, and staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) Providing counseling and crisis intervention as needed Implementing behavior management strategies and supports Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and consultations
Qualifications:
Valid Massachusetts School Psychologist license required Experience working with K-12 students in school settings Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and educational regulations Effective communication skills for collaborating with school personnel and families Ability to manage a full caseload with professionalism and care
Additional Information:
Position is based at one school within the district Supervision support may be provided as needed Interview format and onboarding specifics will be communicated during the hiring process Fingerprinting and background checks will be required prior to start Contract details and start date to be confirmed upon hire This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student development in a dynamic school environment.
