Immediately Job Description SY26-27 Interim School Psychologist (One Year Position) Huckleberry Hill School General Job Description Provide direct counseling support for a caseload of students receiving services Serve as an advocate for students social/emotional needs within the school setting Maintain on-going communication with students, parents, teacher and other stakeholders to ensure appropriate educational access for students Conduct psychoeducational evaluations as part of the state-mandated special education evaluation process, including assessment, interpretation of data, written reports, and participation in Team meetings to support eligibility determination and educational planning Work collaboratively within a team of special educators, general educators, and teaching assistants Support students with transition planning as it pertains to their on-going therapeutic needs Develop student specific social/emotional goals via the IEP process for special education students with on-going written progress monitoring Participate as a member of Huckleberry Hill School Special Education Planning Team Provide consultation to teachers, staff, and families regarding students' social, emotional, behavioral, and academic needs Support the development and implementation of behavioral interventions, accommodations, and student support plans Other duties as assigned by the Principal or the Huckleberry Hill School Team Chair
