School Psychologist in Methuen, MA

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A school district in Methuen, MA is seeking three licensed School Psychologists to support high school students. This contract opportunity offers flexibility with options for full-time or part-time work, Monday through Friday. You will be responsible for assessment, counseling, and intervention services for a caseload of students, playing a vital role in promoting student success and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to identify student needs Provide individual and group counseling to support academic, social, and emotional development Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop intervention plans Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and Individualized Education Program (IEP) development Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state regulations

Qualifications:

Valid School Psychologist license in Massachusetts Experience working with high school-aged students preferred Strong understanding of psychoeducational assessment and intervention strategies Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to manage a caseload efficiently and maintain confidentiality
