What You'll Do:
As an MPIP Intern, you will participate in a year-long doctoral internship designed to prepare future psychologists for professional practice in community behavioral health settings. Provide individual, family, couples, and group therapy utilizing evidence-based treatment approaches Complete psychological assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and comprehensive clinical documentation Participate in individual and group supervision, didactic seminars, and clinical consultations Conduct risk assessments and support individuals with complex behavioral health needs Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to coordinate treatment and support positive outcomes Deliver services in outpatient clinics, community settings, and telehealth environments as appropriate Complete formal case presentations, research presentations, and other internship training requirements Develop advanced multicultural, ethical, and professional competencies through supervised practice
Who You Are:
Enrolled in an APA-accredited doctoral program in Clinical or Counseling Psychology Approved by your Doctoral Program's Director of Clinical Training for internship participation Master's Degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology required Fully bilingual in English and Spanish required Completion of all required coursework and comprehensive examinations prior to internship start Minimum of 500 practicum hours completed; 1,000+ hours preferred Strong interest in community mental health, multicultural psychology, and evidence-based practice Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and clinical communication skills Committed to serving diverse populations with cultural humility and professionalism We Hire for HEART!
