Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract opportunity from July 1 to July 30, supporting student well-being and success as a skilled school psychologist. Working 16-20 hours per week, you'll utilize your expertise to provide psychoeducational assessments, counseling, and targeted interventions for students. This short-term role is ideal for those passionate about fostering positive educational experiences within school environments.
Key Qualifications:
Valid school psychologist certification appropriate for public school settings Experience with psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results Strong understanding of child development, academic, emotional, and behavioral needs Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and administrators Excellent communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and interpret findings to guide individualized educational planning Provide direct counseling and support services to students, addressing academic, social, and emotional concerns Collaborate with staff and families to develop strategies and interventions that enhance student learning and well-being Participate in eligibility and team meetings, offering insights grounded in assessment and observation Maintain thorough, confidential documentation compliant with all relevant guidelines Partner closely with interdisciplinary teams to advocate for student needs Enjoy the satisfaction of making a positive difference within a school system while benefiting from a contract role that allows flexibility during the summer.
