Licensed Psychologist Credentials Full Job Description Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and experienced Licensed Psychologist to conduct autism evaluations for children on a per diem basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in child psychology, experience with autism assessments, and a passion for helping children and their families navigate the diagnostic process.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive autism evaluations for children aged 0-21, including intake interviews, assessments, and standardized testing. Provide clear and thorough reports of evaluation results, including diagnostic impressions and recommendations. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, educators, and families to ensure comprehensive care and support. Maintain professional and ethical standards, adhering to all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Doctoral degree in Psychology (PhD or PsyD) from an accredited institution. Active, unrestricted license to practice psychology in Maryland. Experience conducting autism evaluations for children, including familiarity with diagnostic tools such as ADOS-2, ADI-R, and other relevant assessment instruments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Strong report-writing skills, with attention to detail and the ability to clearly convey complex information. Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with children and families.
