Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a difference every day working with students in a supportive K-12 environment! A unique opportunity is open for a skilled School Psychologist to serve a vibrant school community on a contract basis, where you'll collaborate with educators and families to encourage student growth and well-being for the entire academic year.
Key Qualifications:
Current, active School Psychologist License in Maryland required Experience working as a School Psychologist, particularly in a school setting Ability to serve a diverse K-12 caseload with varying needs Strong collaboration and communication skills with students, families, and school staff Demonstrated commitment to supporting students' social, emotional, and academic success
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct counseling and mental health support to students Conduct assessments and evaluations as part of the special education process Develop, monitor, and implement IEPs and 504 plans in partnership with multidisciplinary teams Collaborate with teachers, school administrators, and parents to promote positive educational outcomes Participate in student support meetings, crisis intervention, and preventative initiatives Help foster a nurturing, inclusive school environment As part of this rewarding contract, you'll enjoy a steady daytime schedule with 37.5 onsite hours per week, giving you the opportunity to build lasting, positive relationships within the school community.
