Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist to support diverse student populations through travel assignments in the Hagerstown, MD area. This role involves providing expert psychological services across various schools, delivering evaluations, counseling, and intervention strategies to promote student success and well-being.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students' educational and emotional needs. Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings. Provide counseling and crisis intervention support to students. Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and administrators to implement effective behavioral and academic strategies. Monitor and evaluate student progress and adjust interventions accordingly. Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines. Travel to multiple school sites within the designated region to deliver services as required.
Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program. Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist. Experience conducting psychological assessments and developing IEPs. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with educators, students, and families. Flexibility and willingness to travel between school locations. Ability to manage caseloads independently while maintaining high standards of documentation.
