Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding opportunity working within a supportive school setting as a contract School Psychologist. This full-time role begins August 10th, 2026, and extends through June 17th, 2027, offering a consistent schedule for the academic year. You will serve as a vital member of the Department of Student Services, collaborating with other education professionals to support students' educational and emotional well-being. The position is in-person and requires a dedication to fostering a positive learning environment for a diverse student body.
Key Qualifications:
Current Maryland School Psychology License (required) Prior experience as a school psychologist preferred Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other specialists
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments Provide individual and group counseling to students Develop and implement intervention plans that promote student success Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to address students' academic and emotional needs Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute to the development of appropriate educational plans Maintain accurate and confidential student records according to district policy
