Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make an impact supporting student success in an engaging and collaborative educational environment. A contract opportunity is available for dynamic School Psychologists to provide valuable in-person services within the Department of Student Services for the upcoming academic year. In this role, you will assess and address the psychological needs of students while working closely with educators and families. The school district is seeking dedicated professionals ready to contribute to student well-being starting August 10th, 2026, through June 17th, 2027, on a full-time schedule.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active and valid Maryland School Psychology License Previous experience in a K-12 educational setting preferred Thorough knowledge of assessment tools, consultation techniques, and intervention strategies Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams Exceptional communication and organizational abilities Commitment to supporting all students' academic, social, and emotional growth
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations Participate in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Advise staff and parents on educational accommodations and behavioral interventions Provide crisis intervention and counseling services as needed Serve as a resource to assist with the implementation of school-wide programs Maintain accurate records and comply with district, state, and federal guidelines Why you'll love this position: Experience a supportive school culture devoted to professional growth and student-focused service.
