Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity working with K-12 students—primarily elementary ages—where your skills as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) will make a meaningful impact each day. This full-time, contract role offers the chance to engage with a diverse caseload in a supportive educational environment. Ideal candidates should demonstrate expertise in both school-based and healthcare settings, with experience serving pediatric populations. Whether you are CCC-certified, a Clinical Fellow (CFY), or have a strong background as an SLPA, your passion for supporting student communication and social development is highly valued. Experience with teletherapy is a plus, expanding support to students in creative, accessible ways.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Valid SLP or SLPA licensure in the state Masters or Associate's degree (as applicable to role) Familiarity with K-12 educational systems, with emphasis on elementary ages Pediatric and/or school-based
SLP/SLPA
experience preferred Comfortable working on-site and through teletherapy platforms Strong communication, collaboration, and case management skills Enthusiastic, team-oriented, and adaptable approach
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative speech-language services to students Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to maximize student success Complete documentation, assessments, and reports in accordance with school and state guidelines Participate in IEP meetings, progress reviews, and multi-disciplinary teams Adapt service delivery for remote/teletherapy as needed
