Trauma-Informed & Neurodiversity Affirming Practice Location:

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities:
Provide individual, group, and family therapy with a focus on trauma-informed and neurodiversity-affirming practices. Conduct psychological assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including occupational therapists, psychiatrists, and other mental health professionals. Participate in training and supervision of trainees, fostering a culture of learning and excellence. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in the field. Contribute to community outreach and education efforts to promote mental health awareness and resources.
Qualifications:
Doctorate (PhD or PsyD) or Masters in Psychology (Clinical or Counseling) from an accredited program. Fully licensed in the state of Michigan. Experience in trauma-informed care is a must. Previous work with neurodiverse populations and children is an added bonus. Strong commitment to culturally sensitive and inclusive practice. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently.

Hours per week:
A full-time clinician at our clinic sees about 20-27 clients a week. 30% or less of those clients can be seen virtually. About another 10 hours per week is spent on writing notes, updating treatment plans, completing CE, attending team meetings, and contacting collaterals. Due to the pediatric populations we work with, it is required for clinicians to either work a weekend shift or work two evening shifts during the week (2 pm to 8 pm).
