Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A School Psychologist opportunity is available at a middle college located in Ann Arbor, MI. This contract position focuses on providing psychological services primarily for students in transition programs, with an evaluation-heavy caseload. The role requires onsite presence, approximately 10 hours per week, during the extended school year.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations, focusing on students in transition programs Collaborate with educational staff to support student needs and develop appropriate interventions Provide data-driven recommendations and participate in individualized education program (IEP) meetings Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state regulations Support students' social-emotional development through consultation and direct servicesQualifications and Experience:
Valid Michigan School Psychologist credential required Experience working with diverse student populations, particularly those transitioning between educational programs Strong assessment and report-writing skills, with a background in psychological evaluations Ability to work onsite with flexibility in scheduling and interview availability Understanding of special education laws and best practices within school settingsLocation:
