Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract This part-time position is designed for a dedicated school psychologist interested in supporting a diverse student population in a specialized center program. Located in Canton, MI, this role offers approximately 20 hours per week with flexible scheduling options—work half days Monday through Friday or full days for 2.5 days per week—to suit your professional and personal needs. The center serves students from across the county who qualify under MoCI, SCI, and SXI eligibilities, with ages ranging from 3 to 26 years. The primary responsibility focuses on conducting thorough re-evaluations, providing critical insights that shape individualized educational plans and support services. As part of a collaborative two-person team, this role fosters professional interaction with another experienced school psychologist, encouraging a cooperative approach to student assessment and program development.
Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid school psychologist credentials and relevant licensure Experience conducting re-evaluations across a broad age range (early childhood through young adulthood) Familiarity with MoCI, SCI, and SXI eligibility criteria and related assessment protocols Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team Ability to maintain detailed documentation and adhere to regulatory compliance standards
Responsibilities:
