Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a meaningful impact as a contract School Psychologist working with K-12 students for the 2024-2027 school years. This full-time opportunity runs from August 14 to June 1, 2027, and is based near Charlotte, MI. As a valued team member, you'll support students' growth and success while handling approximately 80 evaluations throughout the school year.
Key Qualifications:
School Psychologist certification or appropriate state licensure Experience working within K-12 educational settings preferred Strong understanding of assessment, intervention strategies, and best practices in school psychology Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families Organizational skills for managing multiple evaluations and case files
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct and interpret comprehensive psychological and academic assessments for students in grades K-12 Write clear, actionable reports based on evaluation results Consult with educators and parents to create and implement effective educational/behavioral interventions Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert recommendations to support student learning Help develop strategies that promote student well-being and academic achievement Maintain consistent documentation and comply with legal and ethical mandates This contract role offers the chance to create lasting change in students' lives within a supportive school environment.
