Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic contract opportunity as a School Psychologist supporting students and educators throughout the full school year. This full-time role is designed for passionate mental health professionals dedicated to fostering safe, inclusive, and collaborative learning environments. Work closely with school teams to deliver comprehensive psychological services, with interviews starting immediately.
Qualifications:
Valid state certification and licensure as a School Psychologist Previous experience in a school setting preferred Expertise in assessments, individual and group counseling, and crisis intervention Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, staff, and families Ability to create and implement behavior management plans Commitment to ethical practices and ongoing professional development
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to identify students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral interventions Provide counseling and intervention services to students individually or in groups Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to program planning Assist in creating positive behavioral support systems and fostering a healthy school climate Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and legal requirements Deliver consultation and training for staff to support students' mental health and learning
