Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Opportunity Snapshot A school program in the Garden City, Michigan area is seeking a School Psychologist to provide short-term support for a post-secondary transition program (ages K-26). This role will primarily support students in an Adult Independence (AI) program setting, working with a small, specialized caseload. This is a limited-term assignment (May-June), with additional needs anticipated in September and October, making it a great opportunity for flexible scheduling or supplemental work. What This Role Involves Work with a small group of post-secondary students in a structured program setting Support students in transition and life-skills development programs Collaborate with program staff and district personnel Assist with student evaluations or consultations as needed Provide guidance to support independence and functional skill growth Work within a specialized campus environment (Burger Baylor / BTC - AI Program) What You Bring Active Michigan School Psychologist certification required Previous experience in transition programs or special education settings preferred Ability to support older students (post-secondary / up to age 26) Strong collaboration and communication skills Comfort working in a non-traditional school setting
