Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract opportunity is available for a skilled professional to provide psychological services within a school setting located in Grand Blanc, MI. This role focuses on supporting students' mental health, learning, and developmental needs through comprehensive assessments and interventions aligned with educational goals.
Responsibilities include:
Conducting psychological evaluations to identify students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral strengths and challenges Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and intervention plans Providing counseling and crisis intervention services to support student well-being Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student success Maintaining accurate and confidential records in compliance with district and legal guidelines Assisting with threat assessments and behavior management strategies as needed Desired qualifications: Master's or doctoral degree in school psychology or related field Valid school psychologist certification or licensure for practice in Michigan Experience conducting assessments using a variety of psychological tools and reports Strong knowledge of special education laws and educational regulations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and school personnel Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize responsibilities This contract position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the educational and emotional growth of students in a supportive school environment in Grand Blanc, MI.
