Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a difference in K-12 education as a School Psychologist in a dynamic, part-time contract position near Lansing, MI. This engaging itinerant role offers a flexible 20-hour workweek, supporting students across school sites while collaborating with a team of dedicated professionals. Your expertise will empower students' academic and emotional growth as you deliver comprehensive psychological services, making a real impact on their educational journey. You'll have the opportunity to implement Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), conduct evaluations, and be a key contributor in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, ensuring each student receives the resources and support they need to thrive.
Qualifications and Experience:
Michigan School Psychologist certification is required Experience working with K-12th grade students Background in implementing MTSS processes preferred Skilled in conducting psychoeducational evaluations Strong communication and collaboration abilities, particularly within IEP teams Previous experience in an itinerant school psychologist role is advantageous
Key Responsibilities:
Provide psychological services and supports to K-12 students Travel between assigned schools to meet diverse student needs Complete comprehensive evaluations and assessments Assist with designing and implementing MTSS strategies Attend and advise at IEP meetings, collaborating with educators and families Consult on behavioral interventions and academic support plans This role offers competitive hourly compensation ranging from $50 to $55, reflecting your skills and experience.
