Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This full-time, contracted position offers a rewarding opportunity to serve K-12 students as a School Psychologist in Marquette, MI. Providing comprehensive psychological services to support student learning and well-being, this role is critical in fostering a positive educational environment.
Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students K-12 Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and intervention plans Provide counseling and support services to students facing academic, social, or emotional challenges Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expert recommendations Assist in crisis intervention and prevention strategies Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to school psychology services
Qualifications:
Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist Experience working within K-12 educational settings preferred Strong knowledge of assessment tools and intervention strategies Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
