Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract opportunity is available for licensed School Psychologists to provide onsite services within a Special Education school district located in Marshall, MI. Candidates will serve students from kindergarten through 12th grade, with placement aligned to experience. This position runs from August 24, 2026, to June 10, 2027, offering up to 40 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for K-12 students. Collaborate with educational staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs). Provide counseling and support services to students as needed. Utilize telehealth methods when appropriate alongside onsite services. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state regulations and district policies.
Qualifications:
Active Michigan School Psychologist license is required; candidates must provide proof of current licensure. Experience working within K-12 educational settings, preferably in Special Education. Strong knowledge of applicable laws, assessments, and best practices in school psychology. Ability to manage workload efficiently and communicate effectively across multiple stakeholders.
