Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in education by supporting students' well-being and academic success as a valued school psychologist. This contract opportunity is based near Pontiac, MI, with two open positions available for the 2026-2027 school year, and potential for summer extended school year service in 2025-2026. Working 35 hours per week primarily at elementary and middle schools, you'll provide essential support spanning PreK through 12th grade. Enjoy the autonomy to select your own schedule aligned with school hours, allowing you to balance work and life while delivering high-quality psychological services.
Key Qualifications:
Current, active Michigan School Psychologist license (required; please provide verification screenshot) Ability to work independently, demonstrating strong organizational and problem-solving skills Experience with students across PreK-12 preferred Knowledge of psychological assessments, intervention planning, IEP participation, and multi-tiered systems of support
Responsibilities Include:
Conducting evaluations, assessments, and progress monitoring for students referred for services Providing individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support Collaborating with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement student plans Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to eligibility determination, compliance, and best practices Supporting a positive learning environment that fosters students' academic and emotional development This is an onsite contract role offering the flexibility to craft your work schedule within standard school hours.
