Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in students' lives by providing essential psychological services for preschool through 12th grade during the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. In this contract position, you'll contribute as a vital member of a multidisciplinary team to ensure students receive tailored support and appropriate special education evaluations.
Responsibilities:
Conduct special education evaluations for students from preschool through grade 12 Deliver comprehensive psychological services aligned with district and state standards Collaborate regularly with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, administrators, and support staff Engage with families to share findings, provide recommendations, and support individualized student needs Ensure strict compliance with timelines and requirements set by special education laws and policies Adapt role duties as needed based on caseload dynamics and district priorities
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree (or the equivalent) in School Psychology Current Michigan Department of Education approval as a School Psychologist Strong communication and collaboration skills Experience with diverse student populations and special education processes preferred Ability to work onsite throughout the assignment This onsite, full-time contract role will have you working 37.5 hours each week at a location to be determined within the district.
