Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A travel opportunity is available for a School Psychologist based in Portland, Michigan. This role involves providing essential psychological services to students within school settings, supporting their academic, social, and emotional development.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate student needs Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student success Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with regulations Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to behavioral intervention plans
Qualifications:
Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist Experience conducting educational and psychological assessments Strong knowledge of child development and special education laws Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to travel as required to various school locations
Location:
Position is based in Portland, MI, with travel expectations to serve multiple school sites in the region
