Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist in a school setting near Sterling Heights, MI. This engaging opportunity is ideal for professionals eager to work with K-12 students and collaborate within a dedicated educational team. Whether you prefer full-time, 35 hours per week (seven-hour days), or you're seeking a part-time role with consistent, full-day scheduling, there are flexible options available. Responsibilities include delivering speech and language services to students, performing evaluations, developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs), and collaborating with teachers, school psychologists, and families to advance student progress. The selected professional will support a tailored caseload that aligns with both their strengths and school needs—fostering a positive, supportive environment for student growth. Preference is given to onsite work, and those open to travel assignments are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders Active SLP license issued in Michigan Experience in school settings or working with K-12 populations is valued Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to manage and prioritize caseloads independently Openness to travel assignments and flexible scheduling
