Key Qualifications:
Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in the state Proven experience working in school settings, supporting students from diverse backgrounds Strong understanding of psychological assessment tools and data-informed interventions Excellent collaboration skills with educators, administrators, students, and families Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards
What You'll Be Doing:
Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments and interpreting findings Providing consultation services for teachers and school staff to support students' academic and behavioral needs Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on IEP and eligibility meetings Developing and facilitating intervention strategies for students, including crisis response as needed Advising families regarding resources, strategies, and ongoing support for their children Assisting in the development of school-wide initiatives to promote mental health and inclusive practices Documenting evaluations, services, and student progress in alignment with compliance guidelines This is a contract-based position with renewal possibilities for the 2026-2027 academic year, offering you the chance to build ongoing relationships with students and staff.
